I just returned from overseas in Indonesia where I have been living and my father Donald had told me about Rick's passing last month. Our sincere condolences on his death--we considered you to be great family friends and admired Rick as a leader, teacher, coach and friend. Condolence: I'd like to express my condolences to the family of Coach Linsenmayer. As our wrestling coach he was there during the most formative years of our lives. The lessons that he taught us went far beyond the wrestling mat. He taught us about the value of hard work, discipline, persistence, attention to detail and leadership. He did so much to prepare us for life beyond high school and I appreciate the sacrifices he made on our behalf so much. he will be missed.

Condolence: I imagine my feelings are similar to many other grown men that at one time in their lives showed up, worked hard, and learned life long lessons at the hands of a true master. Coach you are missed, but the legacy build around your sacrifice and devotion to a scraggly group of young men can never be quantified but easily seen in the lives of those who to this day wake up in the middle of the night to a voice screaming "free leg over". We love you and thank you for more then you will ever know.

Condolence: Coach, I was truly saddened to hear of your passing. I wanted to thank you for being a great role model and teacher. I will always remember fondly my years as one of your wrestlers - including the many lessons you taught me on and off the wrestling mat and in the classroom. I can say i am truly priveleged to have had you as a part of my life. Having the opportunity so see you in church a month and a half ago and to shake your hand in peace, made me feel special as it was like shaking the hand of a rockstar - someone you idolized and looked up to so much. I was proud that day to tell my son that you were my coach. May you rest in peace and know that your legacy will live on. God bless you, and peace be with you always Coach... R.I.P.
