Linda Jean (Ginnett) Rhodes, known affectionately as “Boss Kitty” or “Miss Kitty”, born on Tuesday, June 22, 1954 in Anacortes, WA, went to her final resting place on Wednesday, August 23, 2017.
In 1972, Linda graduated from Oak Harbor High School. She would be the first to donate her time and talents, or just a meal, to anyone in need. “Don’t leave my house hungry!”, she would say. Linda touched many lives in her time here and will be greatly missed.
Those surviving her are her loving husband of 45 years, Dusty Rhodes, of Oak Harbor; her daughters, Dawn (Keith) Strauser of Camano Island, Christine (Blaire) Rhodes of Bellingham, her sister Kathy (Gerhard) Davis of Oak Harbor; and numerous other family members. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Mary Ginnett.
Linda will be buried at Grand View Cemetery, Anacortes, WA next to her parents. A memorial service will take place on Friday, September 1, 2017, 2pm, at Oak Harbor Lutheran Church followed by a reception.
The family suggest memorials to Linda be made out to a charity of your choice.
