Obituary for Keith Pankau

Keith Pankau
Keith A. Pankau, beloved brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, had the kindest and most giving of hearts.

He is survived by his sisters Laura Crook of Mt. Vernon, WA and Judith DeValdez of La Conner, WA, and his brother Gregory Pankau of St. Augustine, FL. His daughters Christina Adkinson of Langley, WA and Sarah Pankau of Marysville, WA, and his sons Keyth Pankau of Madisonville, LA and Alan Pankau of Freeland, WA. Also by 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; and by an ever increasing number of people who also considered him family. The number of people he helped in various ways, and/or took into his home was enormous. He was generous to a fault with nearly everyone he knew. He had an infectious laugh, which was used frequently, either at your joke, or the one he just told.

His memory about people was legendary. If you wanted to know what became of someone from decades ago, Keith was the guy to ask. He will be missed greatly for these and countless other reasons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Pankau and Julia Hodson and by his beloved brother Carl Pankau.

Funeral services will be held at Wallin Funeral Home, 1811 NE 16th Ave., Oak Harbor, WA on Saturday, October 7th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
