Obituary for Sharon Kay Page

Sharon Kay Page, age 67, died suddenly at Northwest Hospital, Seattle, WA on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Sharon was born on March 8, 1947 in Wellington, Texas to James and Mena Loman. She was raised in Dumas, TX where she graduated from high school. She went on to attend and graduate from business college in Denver, CO.

She was married to Emmett Ray Page, who was a member of the US Army, in Narrows, VA on January 6, 1968. Following his discharge, Ray and Sharon moved to Sherman, TX. The family moved on to Bay Town, TX where Sharon taught high school math for five years. She then went to work for Randall Grocery, spending the next 15 years working in the bakery and also as a cashier.

In 2009, Ray and Sharon retired and became full-time RVers, traveling the United States in their motor home. They are members of the Escapees RV Club.

Sharon enjoyed scrap-booking, card making, was an excellent seamstress and cook, and loved to read.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Ray, daughter Tammy Gauthreaux of Denver City, TX and son Jeff Page of Edmond, OK. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Christopher and Brandon Gauthreaux and Zoe Page. Surviving siblings are Sylvia Majors, James Loman, Lola Herd, Harvey Loman, Lloyd Loman, and Cleta Johnson.

Funeral services for Sharon will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Wallin Funeral Home in Oak Harbor, Washington with Pastor Jim Turner of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Birch Bay, WA presiding.
