She was a graduate of Marian School of Nursing in the Philippines where she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Annie met the love of her life, Ramon L. Villaflor Jr. in 1981 at the age of 23 at the Philippines Red Cross. She worked for over 40 years in the medical field with most of her career being spent at Naval Hospital Oak Harbor and Whidbey Health. Aniceta and Ramon would go on to be stationed in Japan and Hawaii before making Oak Harbor their home of over 30 years. Annie was known for her smile and beautiful spirit; she would be seen at the hospital bouncing around to her co-workers offering up her amazing Filipino cooking and saying “Whatttever girl” to her co-workers. Annie was always with her best friends Alicia, Marivic and Pam going on walks, going to countless amounts of concerts, and just enjoying all that life has to offer.
Annie loved her husband, Ramon more than words could ever express; she exemplified “stand by your man.” Their wonderful marriage of 40 years was a testament to the love these two had for each other. She was the best at loving her husband and family.
Annie was an avid walker and made it a goal to spend as much time outside with her husband and dogs Pepper and T2. She is survived by her husband, Ramon L. Villaflor Jr., their son Mark and his wife Camille and her beautiful grandboys Aguila Mateo Villaflor and Silas Maverick Villaflor, and their son Ramon S. Villaflor III.
