Obituary for Calvin Wayne Solomon
On September 9th, 1980 God seen fit to send this gentle & humble soul to the proud parents of Alrena Marie Solomon & Arthur Wayne Smith. On March 3rd, 2021 God decided to take him back.
Calvin graduated with the Class of 2001 from Crowley High School, and after graduation he went into the US Navy where he served until 2012. He was a quiet and gentle man that had compassion for all and always respected others, his friends, and anyone that got the chance to meet him would agree. He is gone but will never be forgotten.
He leaves behind his wife, Ana Solomon, his two sons: Calvin Jr. (CJ) & Dante Solomon of Oak Harbor, WA. His mother Alrena Marie Solomon, his adopted dad Perry Yokum, his sister Faye Solomon, and his brother Donald (Dee) Solomon of Crowley, LA. Uncles: Clifton Harmon of Memphis, TN, Johnny Harmon of Hawaii, Darrel Harmon of Crowley, Jerry Smith of Lafayette LA, Reggie Smith of Oklahoma. Aunts: Pearl Smith, Connie Smith, Georgia Smith, & Pat Smith White of Houston, TX. Juanita (Magoo) Harmon, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation followed by a funeral service took place at Wallin-Stucky Funeral Home in Oak Harbor, WA. On Saturday March 13, 2021 from 10-2 pm.
