On 31 December, David Weisbrod made his final flight. Known in this community and in many sectors of the Maritime Patrol Community as Mister ASW. With 31 years of active Navy service and and 18 more as a contractor working on Navy project, he was only a few months short of a half century dedicated to the Navy and its ASW mission. Within the Oak Harbor community, Dave was active in as many service organizations as he could fit into his schedule. He was the key man for the audio and visual needs for the programs of every service club he was associated with. Accordingly, it is fitting that a joint luncheon be held to honor his devotion to his military and civic service. This joint luncheon is scheduled to occur on 25 Mar 2022, at Oak Harbor Elks Lodge.
