Obituary for Delphine (Texeira) "Tiny" Fleming
Delphine "Tiny" Texeira-Fleming was born on September 17, 1924 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She passed away on May 17, 2021, at the age of 96.
She leaves behind her children:
Barbara (Eddie) Eguires & Grandchildren: Carol, Buddy, Paul (Verna), James (Ja-Kee), Debbie, & Kathy (Robert);
Janice Valencia & Grandchildren: Lisa (Gaylen), Laura (Eric), & Michael (Christine);
Robert (Val) Mowers & Grandchildren: Robby, Nikki, & Derwin;
Sharon Varano & Grandchildren: Lynn (Bill), Tammy, & James;
Mary Arlene (Carl) DiQuollo & Grandchildren: Shawn (Stephanie), Arianna, Christianna, Julie (Neil), Denise (Warren), Mary (Mike), & Christine;
Scott (Mary Ann) Fleming & Grandchildren: Scott (Brooke), Joe (Anu), & Trevor (Mallarie);
along with many Great-Grandchildren & Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Delphine was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Gertrude Texeira; her husband, Charles W. Fleming; her son, Michael Fleming; her brothers, Joseph and Sonny; and her sister Tina.
Delphine’s last few days consisted of many visitors, many prayers, letters, and phone calls from family and friends. She was showered with love and kindness. She had been blessed by a long and wonderful life. She will be remembered by the many lives she touched along with her absolute love of God.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine's Church in Oak Harbor, WA on Friday, May, 28th, 10:00 am and will be broadcast on the church's Facebook page live. A viewing visitation will begin at 9:00 am before Mass. Interment will be immediately following the ceremony at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
