Obituary for Edwin "Lowell" Petersen

Edwin "Lowell" Petersen was born at Scotia Hospital in California; the family moved to Ferndale, California in 1949 when his father opened Petersen Chevrolet Company.
Lowell graduated from Ferndale Union High School in 1955. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years, three of those in France; he attended Humboldt State College. He spent his career in the retail business ending up in Oak Harbor, Washington, the owner of Ace Hardware. He belonged to the Oak Harbor Rotary Club.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anne Louise; his children, Kevin and Kelly (Art) Wong; his sister Pam (Michael) Durant, his brother Rick (Lorie) Petersen; grandchildren, Kyle and Jason Wong, Lydia and Angela Petersen, and many good friends.
