Ericolis Juan Kelley, Jr. was born March 9, 2007, in Oak Harbor, Washington to Ericolis Juan Kelley, Sr. and Le’Andra Lee (Jones) Kelley and departed this life on August 30, 2022 at the tender age of 15.
Eric, as he was affectionately called, was well-known in the community both for his skills as a talented year-round athlete and for his compassion for others. At Oak Harbor High School, Eric competed for the Wildcats in football, basketball, and track.
Everyone who knew Eric felt his big heart and giving nature. Eric’s good attitude and likable personality both helped make him as popular at school as he was in the community. He made friends with people at all ages and levels of ability.
Eric leaves to cherish him memory his parents; sisters: Kylee D. Jones and Genesis N. Kelley of Oak Harbor, WA; brothers: Ericolis J. Kelley of Dayton, OH and Kenneth A. Kelley of Oak Harbor, WA; grandparents Dale M. Robinson of Seattle, WA, Ronald A. Robinson of Fife, WA, Kenneth E. Kelley and Dorothy A. Taylor of Dayton, OH; Aunts Latoya A. Surratt (Broderick) of Fife, WA, Tamara S. Kelley of Dayton, OH, Monica M. Anderson of Chicago, IL, uncles Arthur Lee Jones (Karen) of Seattle, WA and Zuriel Ben Israel (Eitana) of Tacoma, WA and a host of cousins, extended family and friends. He is predeceased by grandfather Ernest L. Ruffin of New Orleans, LA.
