Esther Villafaña Hinojosa, age 86, of Oak Harbor, WA passed away April 11, 2022, peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones. Esther Villafaña Hinojosa was born on September 13, 1935 in Barstow, CA. She graduated Barstow High School in 1954 and married the love of her life, Manuel Hinojosa in 1956. Preceeding her in death: her parents, Abundio and Erlinda Villafaña; brother, Henry Villafaña; sister, Erlinda Peralta; sister, Shirley Cole; and her son, Mario Hinojosa. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Manuel Hinojosa, of Oak Harbor, WA; siblings: David Villafaña, Enedina McKnight, Rudy Villafaña, Sally Najera; five children; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be April 26, 2022: 9:30a Visitation, 10:30a Rosary, 11:00a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Barstow, CA. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery in Barstow will immediately follow Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Ms. Esther’s name to St. Augustine Catholic Church in Oak Harbor, WA.
