He is survived by his wife Linda. Children Mary, Mike and Doug. Grandchildren Jaymee and Rebecca. In his younger days he participated in the Island County Mounted posse. And work at the Oak Harbor School District in the maintenance department. he then formed JD Mechanical with his son Mike. He enjoyed Hunting in the cascades and enjoyed fishing in various rivers in Washington.
