Obituary for Joey Lujan

Joey was taken from us suddenly in his home in Oak Harbor, WA.
Born on Guam he grew up in the village of Merizo where he graduated from Inarajan High school. Shortly after graduation Joey left Guam to try his luck out in the states landing in California. Doing various jobs from telemarketer to moving crew and delivery truck driver. He eventually moved back to Guam where he continued his multitude of different trades from Hotel maintenance and on. He decided once again to try his luck of the island and found himself in Texas where he worked again as a truck driver and gas station attendant while he pursued a new career attending a technical college in computer engineering.
He ended up having health issues that caused him to be put on dialysis He eventually moved up to Washington to be closer to family. He loved his family and quickly became an amazing uncle to his nieces and nephews. Many that know him would say he was a giant with a heart of gold. He was always welcoming with a smile. Even in his most painful days of treatments and not so great days of his health he maintained his welcoming presence. He loved to joke and laugh with everyone. Always playing pranks on his health care team and on his family most of all. You will be greatly miss Joey, fly high and rest easy.
