Obituary for Joseph Skripek
Joe was born on June 20 1939 at home in Verona NJ and passed away in Washington State on January 23rd 2022.
Joe was the youngest child of three of Mary and Albert Skrzypek. His sister, Nancy Skrzypek Fraser, predeceased him, His brother Albert still lives in NJ.
Joe attended Verona High School class of 1957, Kenyon College where he was Vice President of his fraternity Delta Tau Delta, and Rutgers Law School.
He practiced law in Fairfield, NJ for many years and was also the Fairfield town attorney.
In 2020 Joe moved to Freeland Washington to be closer to his family. He loved to go out to Sunday dinner at HongKong gardens with his family. Joe was a history buff and always told stories about world history.
He leaves his two sons, Oldest Son Michael (57) Wife Kathy grand kids Daniel (42), Eric (39), Michael (33), Michael (Sergey) (30), Kathryn "Katie" (21)
and his youngest Son Craig (52) Wife Annabelle Grandkids Kaitlyn is (21), Ryan is (18), and Andrew is (17). Great grand kids Aubriana is (13), Braelyn is (8), Kiera (15) months .
He built a beautiful round house in Fairfield NJ on the Passaic River where he enjoyed hosting many class reunions and family parties.
Joe will be missed,
