Obituary for Larry "Barney" G. Barnard
Larry Glen Barnard aka ( Barney ) passed away on September 21, 2022 at the University of Washington Hospital NW campus from a stroke. Larry was born in Bellingham, Washington on January 1, 1950 to his father La Verne William Barnard and mother Lucille Barnard Campbell. Larry and his parents lived in Oak Harbor Washington for his whole life.
After school he worked most of his life in the automotive industry first at his father's wrecking yard and then off to Chuck's Auto Rebuild. Larry enjoyed spending his days at the American Legion visiting with friends. He loved and took great pride and pleasure in building model cars. He also loved going fishing and hunting. Larry had many friends that will miss him dearly.
A public viewing to say your goodbyes on Wednesday Sep. 28th from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Wallin & Stucky funeral home. A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion in Oak Harbor, Washington on Saturday October 8th at 2PM.
