Obituary for Sally Ann Karg

Sally A. Karg was born February 28, 1943, and died on April 25, 2023, in Oak Harbor, Washington. She married Gary E. Karg, in Pueblo, Colorado, on June 9, 1967. She leaves nephews Eric White, in Littleton, Colorado; Chris White (Marnie) and their children, Abigail and Dorothy in Edmonds, Washington.
Sally graduated second in her class from Wintersville High School in Ohio in 1961, then graduated from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She was a pledge trainer for Delta Zeta sorority. She earned a Masters in Guidance and Counseling from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado, in 1975. Sally earned her Type D certificate from The University of Denver in 1985. Sally worked for Pueblo Colorado School District #60 for 33 years before she retired in 1998. She taught at Pitts Junior High School, Central and South High Schools, and was a counselor at Freed Middle School, South High School, and Central High School.
Sally enjoyed the Oak Harbor Elks & RV Club as well as the Oak Harbor Garden Club. She served the Garden Club as Garden Therapy chair and President.
If you wish to celebrate her life, please do something for a fellow human or for the environment: pick up some trash, decide not to litter, go visit someone at a rest home, or do something to promote racial harmony.

At her request, no services will be offered; she will be cremated.
