Obituary for Thomas Michael Kelsey
Thomas Michael Kelsey went to be with the lord on February 8th, 2021. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at 73 years of age in his home on Whidbey Island in Washington state. Tom was a loving father and grandfather. He was a devoted christian. Tom Kelsey always loved watching the water at sunset. God and the ocean were his spiritual and recreational source of strength.
Tom was educated at Fuller Seminary, University of California Los Angeles and University of California Long Beach. He was a lifelong educator and Los Angeles County Fire Department Beach Lifeguard; for 41 years he exercised professionalism while life guarding and administrating public safety. Tom prayed over the responsibilities in his life, which afforded to him the right to claim a faith in Jesus Christ that has carried on with his children.

Tom was an ordained minister, held multiple masters degrees in theology, and faithfully served his family and all who really knew him, on the narrow path with Christ.
