Tom “Mike” Sullivan

Life-long resident of Coupeville, WA, Thomas Michael “Mike” Sullivan passed away September 17, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 90. He was born April 8, 1931.

He is survived by his 2 sons: Edward M Sullivan and David D Sullivan both of Coupeville. 3 grandchildren: Quinn, Michelle and David Jr. And 1 great granddaughter Bella.

Preceding him in death are his mother and father, Georgia A. and John M Sullivan, and 4 sisters: Bessie, Beulah, Helen and Mabel.

After graduating from Coupeville high school in 1950. Mike enlisted in the Army and fought in the Korean War. He was a heavy equipment operator. He worked for Libby’s Construction, JT Trask Construction and retired from the Island County Road Department.

Throughout his life he made many, many, friends. He will be greatly missed. Services held for Mike on October 7th, 2021, at Wallin-Stucky Funeral Home beginning with a viewing from 11-1 pm, a funeral service from 1-2 pm, followed by a 2:30 pm graveside service at Sunnyside Cemetery and a Celebration of Life at 3:30 pm at the Whidbey Island Nordic Hall on Jacobs Road.
