Mr. Milat was my elementary school principal at Olympic View Elementary School from 1st grade until 5th grade 1981-1985..I always had the utmost respect for him. He was such a warm, caring, and compassionate principal. In 5th grade I was an office worker and remember that Mr. Milat had the best candy in his office! My father was in the Navy and would go on deployment for 6 months at a time and I always innately felt that I always wanted to make Mr. Milat proud when my own father was gone. What a wonderful, wonderful man. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
