I was sad to hear of Steve's passing. I graduated from Meadowdale in the same class with Steve. I really didn't know him that well in school (we hung out in different crowds). However, in the 1970's and 80's while living in Oak Harbor, I got to know Steve better. I always thought it was strange to three people from our class wound up living in the small town of Oak Harbor (Dan Berg being the third). What I remember most about Steve is his passion for everything he was involved with. He will be truly missed.
