Obituary for Alix Anntoinette Baker

Alix Anntoinette  Baker
Alix A. Barry Baker, beloved wife of Ferrall and cherished mother of Sarah Baker, Jennifer Baker-Erickson and Alix K. Baker, joined her parents Jerome and Leona Barry and her seven siblings in heaven, February 18th 2016, under the care of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Born in Pontiac Michigan, Alix attended Mercy College where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Nursing Corps. She had a rewarding civilian nursing career as well as being a successful business owner. Later, Alix attended Chapman University where she received a second Bachelor's degree in Geology. She loved to travel, play piano, read and spend time with her family and friends. Alix was loved and treasured by her family including her seven grandchildren Jonah Erickson, Scarlett Bress, Leilah Erickson, Elijah Erickson, Genevieve Bress, Lucy and Dalilah Schmidt.

She remains in the hearts of her loved ones daily as a reassuring guiding light.

A funeral mass for Alix will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Coupeville with Rev. Paul Pluth as Celebrant. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
