Robert Allen Short passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2016 in Anacortes, WA with family at his bedside. He was born March 19, 1941 in Vallejo, CA where he spent his early childhood until moving to Seattle at the age of ten.

He enjoyed working in the automotive sales industry for many years where he formed a number of lifetime friendships. He always said "You can call me Bob."

After retiring, his free time was spent reading, visiting with family or friends, watching movies, golf & football—especially his beloved Seahawks.

Bob had a smile that would brighten your day and a bear hug that would take your breath away.

He is survived by his sister Carole Lawson of Seattle, WA, brother Larry Short of Saratoga Springs, UT, and their spouses and children. His children, Brenda Bixler of Columbus, OH,
Stacy Wolter of Snoqualmie, WA, Tony Carpenter of O'Fallon, MO, Buffy Schwery of Bothell, WA, Tracy Webster of Oak Harbor, WA, their spouses, and his 13 beautiful grandchildren.

He will be fondly remembered, greatly missed, and forever loved.

There will be a Celebration of Life in Bob's honor on Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Edmonds, WA.
