Master Chief, I am but one of many who you lead, taught and inspired while under your direction as the MAINTENANCE/MAINTENANCE MASTER CHIEF in both VA-165 and VAQ-129. It was a direct result of your six years of leadership and hands on training that I aspired to wearing the ANCHORS and later to receive my commission. You stood out as one of the GREATS that I had the pleasure to serve with in my 25 years of NAVAL service and I will not soon forget your direction that one night in the PI when I was ready to gamble it all on a single altercation with a much lessor chief. Thanks for believing in me. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND
