Mr. Milat was my principal at Olympic View Elementary for all six years I went there. I got a swat from him in the first grade and the sixth grade in his office from some misdeed I did! However, once he was done with the punishment, the slate was clean and you could go on. Over the years, I remember seeing his house across the fields from the middle school when playing soccer and would see him from time to time. A simple nod and we both recognized each other. He ranks up there with Claude Harvey and Sid Parker as principals to remember!
